A Disco-Inspired 70th Birthday Built Around the Guest Experience
Steve's 70th birthday at Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina was designed to feel like an experience from the moment guests arrived. The disco and 80s-inspired concept used illuminated technology, personalized content and interactive entertainment instead of relying on one single focal point.
The arrival began with seven LED tunnel frames at the main entrance. Inside, a life-size holographic presentation featured Steve welcoming his guests and telling them how happy he was to celebrate his birthday with everyone.
The ballroom centered around an 18×18 Pixel LED dance floor programmed with Steve's name and event visuals. Guests could also create content at the customized Top Spin 360 and pose inside a Magazine Cover Booth designed specifically for Steve's 70th Birthday.

The before-and-after view helps show how much of the final atmosphere came from the production itself. The illuminated floor added color, movement and a personalized focal point to the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina ballroom.
Rather than adding a generic dance surface, the Pixel LED system became part of the visual design and reinforced the 70th birthday theme throughout the celebration.
